It’s Alive!

Hey cool! So I finally got this blog running. I couldn’t sleep at 3 AM last night and became enamored with the idea of creating a blog again. It had been on my to-do list for years. The biggest hurdle throughout the years was my stubborn ass refused to use WordPress and was set on making the website from scratch (which I have done before btw). Sometimes I forget that getting something done and not doing it the way I want is better than never getting it done at all… so here I am!

Anyway, plans for this blog. I’d always wanted a blog to keep track of my learning progress or to potentially teach others. My piss-poor brain will forget everything I’ve spent hours and days learning, so best to keep track of my newly-found skill sets, yeah? This blog will not be constrained to any one topic; as a Jill-of-all-trades, I have too many interests to stick to just one niche.

Not gonna lie, there are monetary goals associated with this blog as well, but hey I’m not currently worried about finances. My goal as of now is just to see how much money I can make from this blog (if any) as a challenge to myself.

I’m going to set some “rules” for myself, which may or may not be broken:

1. Try to post once a week. That’s not a tall order, is it?
2. Don’t half-ass any of these posts just to complete rule #1.
3. Have fun and be myself! 🙂 I want to be true to myself and completely honest here, and don’t want to subject myself to pandering to an audience of any kind.

Anyway, that’s enough of an intro. I’m super proud of myself for finally taking the plunge and getting this thing online.
